Playing through A Thief’s End, it becomes increasingly clear why Sony chose to port the final game as its first PC release. When his long-lost brother Sam comes back from the dead with leads on pirate gold and a bounty on his head, Nathan falls back into his old adventuring ways which, of course, puts him in constant danger. In A Thief’s End, you return in to the well-worn boots of Nathan Drake, now living a 'normal' life with his partner-turned-wife, Elena. In the new collection, both adventures are accessible from the start. The fourth Uncharted game avoided redundancy by expanding the series’ cinematic presentation, as well as incorporating elements of open-world gameplay that encouraged greater exploration and richer combat.

But you can’t keep a beloved series dormant for too long, and sure enough, Naughty Dog squeezed one more game from the series with 2016’s A Thief’s End.
